Penang, Malaysia

The whole country of Malaysia is a resort! It's tropical, beautiful, and just plane nice place to visit. Malaysia is a country with a mixture of many cultures, ethnicities, and people. There are Indians, Chinese, and Malays that dominate the land of Malaysia. The land seemed to be culturally divided by nationalities. Our ship was docked near "Little Indian" and so Amina and I had Indian food that day. It was so much fun eating what they call a 'set lunch', which was composed of rice, three different dishes of food, and vegetables. It was the best Indian food I've had. Curry is good! It was so much fun walking around with Amina shopping for sarongs and buying ton of clothes for very cheap. Overall, Penang was great! I only spent one day there…the next day I went to Singapore.

Singapore, Singapore

Many people see Singapore as a country with many restrictions. After being there, I find it to be a country who's main goal is growth and money. Singapore's fight to survive in such a large world and them being such a minute country, they must make the "perfect society" so other countries will invest on them and do trading through them. Singapore's goal has been achieved and their country's success has made them become what they are today. Singapore is like NYC but cleaner and more skyscrapers. The whole country of Singapore is one big NYC. It's a great place to visit because it has the world's man-made island, Sentosa, a beautiful resort among many other things in Singapore, like the only night Safari in the world. It's also famous for it's huge shopping malls but it's really expensive so watch out. Oh! another thing, if you are wondering what kind of people Singaporeans are,..they is no such thing as Singaporeans. The people who live in Singapore are Chinese, Malaysians, and Eurasians. A most interesting country because it's a country that has Asian people but they all speak english and the main language there is english. How bizaar! If you ever get the chance, go to Singapore, it's beautiful!

I enjoyed it very much and I hope you did, too! I'll see you in India
